Is it true that we will only get checks delivered by mail on a saturday? I heard that checks are going out earlier that they thought and that government checks are only delivered on saturdays. No, not true that they'll be delivered only on Saturdays. They can come any day when there's mail delivery. |

i don't think one can go by what the irs website says. or by what the notice says that came from the irs. in my case they both say different things. notice told me to expect the check BY today, the website told me it would be mailed today. i got nothing but a lonely mailbox |

All direct deposits will be deposited by today 5/16.
For mailing:
according to irs.gov for SS# ending in 11, your check should be mailed no later than 5/23 and received a few days after.
I have not heard that government checks are only delivered on Sat. I don't know if that is true.

I think going to the website is useless, considering many people have reported getting their paper checks before the date stated on the site..I believe the paper checks started going out last friday the 9th..I am 01 and have not recieved it as of today, eventhough the second notice states I should have received it by today the 16th..I've heard of checks being delivered everyday of the week except sunday. |

my boyfriend already got his check (not direct deposit) .. i'm pretty sure it was on a weekday. regardless, he did already get his so they are mailing them out. go to the irs website ...... http://www.irs.gov ..... you can look at the mailing dates depending on your #'s ...... =) |
