If you filed jointly, then the stimulus payment was the amount for both of you. Why do you say it was for her and not for him?
If you were expecting $1200, you might not have been eligible for that much - it's UP TO $1200 for a married couple - is between $600 and $1200 depending on your tax liability for the year. Maybe the two of you together only qualified for $600 total. |

depending on the last two numbers of your social security number is when you will receive your check. All Direct deposit refunds are being done first then after the 16th they will start mailing out checks for people who did not direct deposit. |

They file JOINTLY, the check to her is for BOTH OF THEM. Just happens to be in her name.

I believe you have to make a minimum of $40,000/yr. in order to qualify for the stimulus payment of $600.00 and it's probably a lower amount to even qualify for $300.00. |
