The best solution is to hire a private investigator who can become familiar with the facts of the case and then collect evidence that will hold up in court. The right person will also have a strong professional background that will withstand scrutiny and be able to testify well. Don't try to do it yourself because the ex-husband's lawyer will likely tear you apart.
Your (oops, your 'friend') might be able to get his/her lawyer to sue to recover the costs of the PI, but I wouldn't be on it.
The DIY way is to catch the guy on camera working and/or playing in a way that demonstrates a lack of disability. Your leverage with him will be turning the evidence over to the DA for fraud charges and to the insurance company for civil charges if he doesn't pay up. |

There are two issues here - one is the tax fraud. Go to www.irs.gov and search "tax fraud" and you will find instructions and the form you should fill out.
The second issue is the support issue - if she has childred and should be receiving child support, then the PI and lawyer may be the route to go in order for her to start getting child support. |
