It can't have been two months...two months ago it was December...of 2006!

Go to http://www.irs.gov and click on "Where's My Refund". You enter your SSN, your filing status, and the expected amount of the refund and they will tell you the status of your return.

jeremiah
you could not have filed before the end
of the year, and that has not been 2 months

Jack Chedeville
two months? you mean you filed your taxes in December?

As others have already said, you could not have filed a US tax return 2 months ago. Even it you did, why would you have it sent to the lady that did your taxes. Checks are normally mailed to the taxpayer's address (your address). I don't even know if the check can be sent anywhere else. If you filed by mail on Jan 1, today would be the earliest you could expect your refund even if there were no delays. The IRS does have a 'Where's my Refund' link on their main page. You will need your filing status, SSN, and refund amount to use it.

Owe the IRS money next time, then it'll be them wondering when the check will arrive.

To go irs.gov and click on refund status.

At best you could have only filed your 2006 taxes about 5 weeks ago. If a check is being mailed, you need to allow 6 to 8 weeks.

You can check the status of your return here: https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/irfof/lang/en/irfofgetstatus.jsp

hey don't worry that is simple just go to Irs web or call the 1800 number they have and find out for your self .
sometimes is better do ,than just wait ,because I don't want to scare you or something but is a posibility that the IRS is holding your funds.....so fund out for yourself.ok
Good Luck!
