Your Partner is the one paying Taxes. He cannot claim you as a Dependant unless you are married. If you have been Laid off from a Job then you qualify for Unemployment Benefits, but YOU have to be the one whom was paying Taxes. Medicaid, SS and Misc, not your Partner, for YOU to be able to Qualify. |

The only benefit you may be able to claim (other than disability benefits if applicable) will be Job Seekers - Contribution Based.
JSA Contribution Based will only be payable if you have paid enough nat ins stamps for the past two full tax years. If you are eligible it will only be paid for 6 months. Contact DWP for a claim pack
All other benefits, including the Job Seekers - Income Based are means tested and therefore will not be payable on your households income of £25000PA |

Yes u can claim job seekers allowance. You wont get any reduction in council tax or anything like that though. |

You need to check online or by phone with your benefits office, or your local CAB. In the past you couldn't get a penny if your partner/spouse was earning unless you had two homes and proved you didn't live together. The rules might be different now, but I doubt much has changed. |

Not sure what you are referring to. If you are wanting unemployment then you would have had to be laid off or fired. If you are not married, your partners income or job should not be considered in the denial of any benefits. |
