Technically yes, you do have to include it as income. Realistically, if you dont include it on the return, its immaterial enough for the IRS to not give a damn even if they found it via audit.

Prophet 1102
Yes - all income from all sources.

Judy1
Yes you do have to show it.

Auntie A
Yes, the rate is based upon them being added to your income.
Of course, if she did not get a W-2 or a 1099 then they were not reported.

where is everybody?
yes you do if filing jointly

If she received a paycheck, the government also received a copy. You must report it. If there were no taxes taken out, then you souldn't mind sending her paperwork in. They will catch up with you in about 3 years, sending you paperwork from the IRs, asking why her income wasn't reported. They might tax you for the three years since it was not reported. That is called interest and their time.
SO, go ahead and report her income, be safe.

Doctor Deth
if you file jointly you do and you should file joint, or you'll owe a lot more than the tax on $230 of income

Yes, you are required to show your wife's income, especially if you're filing a joint return.

Yes, you must report this income. Report this as other income since it is less than $400. You do not pay SE tax on this.
Normally, such income if $400 or more is subject to SE tax and must be reported on schedule C or C-EZ (Form 1040).

im assuming you mean 230.00 dollars. yes?
if this is the case then no you don't have to show it. if she didn't make 2000.00 or more in a year then you don't have to clam it...

cheers
