Angela T | NOW, are you ready to support Steve Forbes "flat tax" proposal? |
I'm going on 3 days now trying to preapre my tax returns.... enough is enough. |

Of course, but for some reason the concept of 'fair for everyone' is not acceptable in America. |

No.
Both Forbe's flat tax and the fair tax raise taxes on the lower and middle classes while reducing taxes on the rich. |

Are you sure you REALLY understand the Steve Forbes "flat tax" proposal?
It is great for non-working people! There would be no tax on Social Security. No tax on pensions. No tax on personal savings. It would zero out capital gains taxes.
The only people taxed would be those actually with jobs earning an honest living.
Let's see, who do we know that would benefit from this the most? Steve Forbes, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett come to mind. |

No.
I agree, simplicity would be nice, but there are
too many other issues at the bar here. |

Always was, always will be. No matter what you make, X% right off the top, no deductions, no loopholes, no income tax returns. Just a flat percentage. |

No. The Fair Tax is a better system. Much wider support extists for this new system introduced to the Congress by Rep. John Linder of Ga. It will eliminate the IRS and tax returns completely.

No...Even though the idea is a good one. There needs to be less loopholes for those that are rich not to get out of. The day will come though. The government needs to get a handle on what it is doing and spending first. I do think that the tax laws need to be looked at. |
