Don't believe either candidate. All this talk about tax is a lot of smoke and mirrors. Unless we pay off the deficit, anything they do will either cause you to pay more tax or will increase the deficit which will be the same as a tax increase since it will cause your money to lose its purchasing power.
Neither candidate is going to reduce the deficit. They might as well just abolish taxes altogether and run the country on a buy-now-pay-later basis and let our grandchildren worry about it when the interest on our national debt exceeds our gross national product. |

i don't even know where to start with this....please check your facts. middle class citizens don't pay near, percentage-wise, what "rich" do. the marginal rate for the "rich" is 35% with minimal deductions allowed these days. the rate for the middle class is WAY less than that. |

You better become a little more educated before you vote. Obama wants to roll back the tax brackets to what they were before Bush changed them a few years back. The very first impact that this will have is that people making as little as $6000 will have their taxes increased. Right now, the first $6000 is taxed at 10%. Obama wants to raise this to $15%. This is an immediate tax increase to the average citizen of $300. This is the tip of the iceberg.
Be careful what you wish for. It's possible one day you may be the one consider rich. |

If you read Jeffersons reasoning for the 2nd amendment,its so WHEN the Gov.starts acting stupid that you have the ability to "keep them in check", then you will know why Obama wants it to disappear,,hes NO different than any professed Socialist..just look at whats going on in Venezula and what that Commie has done but the funny thing is is that theres an extensive record of what Socialist leaders do to their Countries but yet the "educated" are voting for the biggest Socialist since Marx! |
