Paying taxes sucks......how can I not pay them?
it was fun at first but it's getting tiring and I'd rather just spend my money on a good stripper that knows how to treat me better than the government :) (Also, dont say leave the country or to become a bum or to become a celebrity....that wont work)

Go to Mexico, change your name, buy a fake ID card, pay someone $20K (it is expensive if you are not a Mexican citizen) to bring you to the US. Work for some body that takes out SS and Medicare (which they will keep) but not income tax withholding. In your first year you will likely clear $12K to $15K and not pay any income tax. Now you will need to move to Oregon because they have no sales tax. But there you have it. Tax free income (well sort of just don't count the crossing fee and the $1k or so the employer takes for SS and Medicare). Enjoy the fact that the government did not get a dime from you.

Chris, perhaps you have forgotten that paying taxes is what gets the street in front of your house fixed, covers the disabled person who needs medicine, buys a new cruiser for the police after a criminal destroys the old one in a high speed chase, and, in fact, pays for democracy. The only honest way to not pay taxes is too work a job that pays so little that you don't make enough to be required to pay taxes -around $6000 a year. Can you live on that?

By bum, I will assume you mean a homeless person. Do you aspire to that? And I don't know how you got the idea that celebrities don't pay taxes, but you are dead wrong. Usually a celebrity becomes famous for what they do for a living. And that puts them under a magnifying glass with the government. They definitely pay taxes. You can just decide not to pay for a few years, but Uncle Sam will put an end to that very soon. You'll wish you hadn't tried that one.

Gary
That is the way it is. If you do not want to pay taxes then quit working.

Leaving the counrty won't work anyway, as you're still subject to US taxes. So, your only option is becoming a bum. Since that's not on your list of options, there's no way to avoid the tax man.

From my personal experience, the only difference between a stripper and the government is the view. (And that wasn't always worth the price of admission...)

Fake your death, and don't get any kind of legit. job where you'd have to use a SS#. Basically, you'd have to live like an illegal immigrant, but you could probably pull it off if you didn't get into any trouble with the cops. Sadly, like illegal immigrants, you'd have a lot less money than you would have if you were a normal citizen paying taxes. So, it's kind of a lose-lose situation. You can only reduce your taxes otherwise.

Pay it in kind. It sucks if you know most of those taxes go to corrupt government people.
