Last 2 of my SSN# is 20, at this point I am aware that I am not getting DD (but instead will be getting a paper check) My question is: Since the IRS started distributing the paper checks early, should I expect mines a week early (23rd instead of 30th)? Please advise. My friend spoke to someone at the IRS and was told hers would be mailed out on the 23rd (funny thing is we both have the same last 2 digits in our SSN) HELP

A very small percentage of the checks are going out early. As for what to "expect" -- you should expect that your check will be mailed according to the schedule, and arrive a few days later. |

call the same number your friend called or call your local and see if they can tell you anything. I'd guess since you have the same last two digits your's would go out on the same day, but maybe she's one of the early lucky ones. Either way, maybe they can tell you more. |

I am sorry I do not have an answer for you...but I was wondering why you said that you are aware that you would be getting a paper check instead of DD ? Did you get DD with your return and are getting a paper check for some reason with the stimulus ? If so, why ? I am wondering if the same thing is happing to me for whatever reason ?

Don't you hate those people that when you ask a question they answer with IRS schedule. I wish we could go through and delete them. ;)
I am not sure if they sending out checks early or not. I have been reading all week because I am in the first batch (01-09) and the schedule says mine will not be mailed till the 16th and today is the 16th and I have yet to get mine and I am only getting 300. I have heard alot of people on here "say" they are mailing them out on the 9th which is a week early but from my experience it is right on schedule. |

The IRS sucks. That's your answer. I was supposed to get DD today and didn't. I'm screwed royally. I got a good answer from someone on my question so I'll paste it for you. People on here can be real *******. Must be nice to have so much money sitting around you don't have to care when your rebate shows up.

If you can look up on Yesterdays Yahoo News, and it was on ABC World News Last night, they have messed up on the Stimulus Checks.
It said that they had left off, the $300 due to children, on over 325,000 checks.
So due to this problem they said there would be a hold on some.. |

SOME, not all, are going out early, so don't count on yours being one of the early ones. Watch the Where's my Stimulus Payment website for specific info on yours. |

Considering that the site says mailed out by the:....I'm guessing that you will receive it sometime between the 23rd and 30th. I know all this paper check stuff is frustrating. I hope this helps a little bit. |
