I would say your confused all right if you think your gonna get any money from them

schell_75
Absolutely not. Just please throw away and burn it is a good idea. You call this and you have to send money to get your winnings and you might see a check but it will not be a good check.

Scam, Scam, Scam!!!!
Don't be taken.

dirtyoldman
IT IS A SCAM.
MY WIFE HAS WON IT 3 TIMES.
JUST IGNORE IT AND THEY WILL TRY SOMEONE ELSE LESS SENSIBLE THAN YOU.

krumpmaster terrell
Its 100% a scam.

millenium_ryan
I would say it is a SCAM and DO NOT send any money.

First thing to think about, if it is a lottery...do you remember entering in any lottery?

The way some of these scams work is that you will receive a notice saying you won a lottery and they will send a check for $4,000...sometimes more and request you to cash the check and send the money back to them because they say its a fee or something.

Later, your bank finds out the check you cashed was fake and you are required to pay back the money...and you sent the money to them!

DON'T DO IT!

I like horses
If I was you, I wouldn't take a chance, especially if I didn't play the lottery. Scamwise, that's an OLD trick they use in order to steal your personal information. In the end, you might be LOSING money, instead of winning it.

just lisa & proud of it!!!
If you have not entered the lottery then you did not win the lottery. Those emails are scams sent with the intention of hacking into your system and stealing your personal information or convincing you to provide personal information such as full name, age, address, bank account information and the like which will then be used to steal your identity. Either delete the email and block the sender or reply with a message containing the following info: With regard to your recent email stating that I have won the lottery I am at this time demanding that you provide me with verification and proof as to the validity of the aforementioned winnings post haste. Failure to remit the requested verification will serve as proof that this was an attempt to attain personal information from me with the express intent of utilizing such information illegally and for your own personal gain and to my detriment. However, it is pertinent that you note at this time that I have recorded certain personal information about you as well such as the IP address of the originating computer used to remit these emails, the user name and return path of the person holding the account used to send said emails and various other facts which I have provided to my local law enforcement agency in the event that you are using this venue to prey of unsuspecting victims for the purpose of identity theft and/or other relate crimes. I am sure you realize this is an international crime punishable by several years in prison and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines and court fees. Thank you and good day.

Believe me they won't bother you again and I can assure you that you will not be receiving any verification of validity.

It's a scam. How can you possibly win a lottery if you never entered it?
