Im reading on here that some people got their returns today & some will get them tomorrow. I though January 30th was the first date?

I'm expecting in BY February 3rd (WTF??)
I used Turbo Tax online free file.

Mine was filed and accepted on the 23rd. I am going to be receiving mine by mail, it said 3-4 weeks.

Well I filed with handr block, and it was accepted by the irs on the 17th. First it said "by 2/2" now it says by 2/10!!!! According to the schedule, if it was acceted prior to 11 am on the 22nd it should be deposited on the 30th...lets just hope so!

Same thing here. i filed on 1/16 and was accepted on 1/18. But my date has changed from 2/3 to 2/10. I'm about to call to see what is going on.

I have the same problem.... Filed and accepted on the 16th, date on IRS website orginally said 2/3 but now says 2/10. I called but could not get straight answer. I was told my refund may have been delayed due to "a large volume of returns coming thru" Go figure. If anyone has the same problem and can find out exactly why, please post and let us know.

I filed on 1-16 dont know when i got accepted my date says feb 3rd i though the first efile date was the 16th i would hope i would be one of the first ones but i guess not if it says feb 3rd so i guess i will wait till friday

I filed on the 19th...site now says the 10th of Feb, was the 3rd. No other information.

You should probably get yours by the 30th.

Filed on the 16Th, accepted on the 18TH, WMR didn't change until 1/20/09 stating it was being processed. Last night it changed to 1/28/09 for my refund to be released. But the phone line info, and the WMR was all messed up this morning. My son still says his is to be direct deposited on 2/3/09. he filed a day later. I think they are trying to update the system. And maybe they are trying the new computer system.

I filed and was accepted January 22 barely before the cut off time of 11am. WMR tool telling me no later than February 3. I'm guessing that means it'll be transmitted January 30. I used H&R Block's TaxCut software.
