It is 600 per person, 1200 per couple filing joint..and 300.00 per kid. If you have a change of address in place, that is good for up to 1 year.. also if you file your taxes soon this year.. they will have your new one on file.. |

Where is your tax refund going to come from or the place you recorded with the tax office? You can do an official change of address with the post office too-I think its good for 6 months in forwarding mail-- |

The refund is $600-$1200, and of course more if you have children. They're for the 'recession' we're in so if you recently moved out of the U.S. then I'm not sure... |

because of what vote? I haven't heard voting has to do with it, just $600 for tax payers, $300 added for each kid & $300 to non-tax payers (unemployed)

i heard it was 800 and 16 hundred but last night i heard its going to be 600 and 1200 hundred. so im not sure.If you file your taxes in 2007 yes you will get it even if you move..You need to give them a change of address so they can find you. |

It's supposed to be a "rebate" check. If it's anything like the last "rebate", you'll have to pay it back. They should call it a tax "LOAN".
You probably need to file a change of address with some government agency. A tax professional should be able to answer this. |

I read yesterday that is was a $300 refund for a single person and up to $1,200 for a family of 4. I would image they would send your check to the address on your tax returns but if you file a change of address with the postoffice I don't see this as a problem. |
