wow, so they informed you with a email?? and how exactly will they be transfering this money into your account? maybe they will need yout bank account details? better still why dont you just take out a loan and give all the money to them, make a few credit cards, take out a mortguage, and some over drafts and all your money and send it to them in a nice box with wrapping and write on there MERRY CHRISTMAS. |

This is a very common scam these days. There is no Yahoo.UK lottery, and you didn't win anything. They're trying to scam you out of the "cot" amount. Just delete the email.
Think about it. If you really won anything, why wouldn't they just take any costs out of your winnings?
I have"won" this and similar lotteries a large number of times. Pretty much everyone with an emal address without a good spam filter gets this scam sent to them sooner or later. |

Best thing when you get an email like this is to follow Yahoo guidelines and send it straight to spam....I always send to spam anything which sounds too good to be true, because it will be untrue!
I have lost count of the number of emails I have had from all over the world, offering me 20M GBP, all I have to do is send them my bank details so that they can make the deposit.!!!
They must believe that I am stupid, but I'm not...I never open the message, otherwise they will know that my address is available. SEND IT TO SPAM, NOW! |

This is a spam email, they plan to take your money and run, if you had won £600,000 why would they want you to pay the cost of the deposit when they could deduct it from the £600,000.
Its a scam, mark the email as spam and delete it. |
