Go to the post office they will give you a form to fill in, send it off with your tax disc then you will get money back in a few weeks |

There is a form available from the Post Office that you can fill out to reclaim the remaining car tax when you have sold (or similiar) car. You MUST attach the Tax Disc to it, and send the whole thing to the DVLA. |

A form is available from the Vehichle licensing website or your post office. Send it off with your tax disc. If you do it before the end of the month you will be able to claim for a refund from the beginning of the next month as they only do whole months from the first of the month. If you send it after the first of the month you will lose a whole month! So do it now! |
