If you had the receipt then you are entitled to a full refund. If you had not then the store is right to give you money back at the sale price. |

they should refund you what you paid not what the price is now...I would go and have it out with them ...if you raise your voice in the shop they dont like bad publicity...so go for it .... |

With the receipt showing you paid the full price you are definitely entitled to a full refund. Do you now have a receipt showing that you were refunded & how much they gave you?
You may do better to write a polite letter to customer services or the head office explaining what happened & enclosing photo copies (dont send originals) & or/details of the purchase including date you returned it etc.
Thank them for their attention & request a full refund as is your right.

PS: There is no limit to when it can be returned if you have the receipt. It could have been a present bought in advance of Christmas or a birthday &/or not the true size indicated on label. The fact that the item has since been reduced or no longer on sale is irrelevent. Unless an exorbanately long period has passed you have every right to a refund.

How long has it been since you bought/returned the jumper? If you have a valid receipt and you returned it immediately then the shop should refund the full amount - regardless of if it is now in the sale. However, if it has been longer than a fortnight in between buying/returning the jumper the shop can offer you a refund at the price it is now as the goods are not faulty... Sorry... :( |

im sorry to be the bringer of bad news but the law is that you are not legally entitled to a refund or a replacement at all!
there is nothing wrong with the jumper , it is "fit for the purpose"
it's not the store's fault that is is the wrong size.
they don't have to do anything for you so i should bite the bullet and take the £30
alternatively sell the jumper on??
