KKK you are entitled to receive your pf amount and your prev employer cannot deny that.
visit the company and talk to the finance department with any proof of your employment there. they would be able to help you.
If they do not submit the papers for your PF account closure/withdrawal you would not be able to get the cash.
Reg. the amount your money would be growing at approximately 8% per annum so dont worry :)
Cheers,

How you assumed that your P.F balance is 24000/- ? P.F rule is that an employee is entitled for PF deduction after completion of one year's service. That means from the 13th month of your service your PF deduction starts. But you said that you had been with the company for one year only. Are yo sure you have completed one years service ? If so definitely you have the right to ask the company for refund of the P.F so deducted. Another point is relevant. Whether you had simply left the company or resigned duly accepted ? If you simply left the company un authorisedly' the company might have forfietted the amount. But P.F accumulation is the employee's own money, that can not be held up You may write to the company with your P.F No and other documents. |

The present balance in your PF depend on annual interest rate % allowed by your earlier organisation. Minimum rate of interest is decided and announced by Employees' Provident Fund Commissioner, New Delhi every year in the month of April/May. The local PF Trust can allow more than this minimum rate of interest announced by EPFO, New Delhi depending upon interest income from their investments and PF loans distributed to their existing members. Assuming 8% (cumulative) minimum rate of interest on your PF balance, the present balance in your PF account works out to more than Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000. Hope, this serves your purpose. |
