I filed my taxes on Feb. 17th I had to pay 900usd. I sent my payment in on april 13th... just in time before the deadine of april15th. Checks cashed and showed up in my bank account on april 17th. So, i know they got it. Did the online calculator at IRS.gov says were getting 1,200 back. Its now july 9th and no check or letter saying when Im gettting it back.. :-(
we had a balance due and sent pmt in w/ our taxes on Apr 14th and got a letter last week stating we should receive our check around Jul 5th, so you may want to call them and ask about it.

This is from the IRS.gov website under the payment schedule table:
"A small percentage of tax returns will require additional time to process and to compute a stimulus payment amount. For these returns, stimulus payments may not be issued in accordance with the schedule above, even if the tax return was processed by April 15."
You filed at a time when thousands were filing. It probably will take additional time for you to get a check.

The stimulus checks are issued based on if your returned in "processed" by April15th. I am guessing that may be the hold up since your payment didnt post until the 17th. You can go to IRS.gov and there is a link when you enter your SS# and filing status, it will provide you with information if there is any. Otherwsie you can call the IRS but be prepared to sit on hold.

there probably is not one good answer, I still have not got mine either. I called the irs for some reason not all of the checks were processed in the first batch. This is the last week for mailing checks and then they start all over, first direct deposit, than mailings. call 1-800-829-0582, when asked put in extension 726 that will get you to a live person, be prepared to hold for about 30 minutes, but you will get an answer. I was told mine will be direct deposited around the end of the month for some reason mine did not get processed with the first batch either

You may need to contact the IRS. There has been a lot of cheques sent to the wrong addresses.
