The "homeless" will always be with us. Just try to talk some of the people you see on the street into being anything else.
To some, it's a matter of freedom. I suppose you could forcibly house them.
However, it would be great for everyone who wanted one to have a nice house or apartment. We're working on it. |

Maybe Government should make sure everyone has a job opportunity. Then if people work they can get shelter, if they still don't want to work they will be homeless by choice. |

Do you mean "our" taxes? I think that a portion of the taxes should go toward creating better shelters and repairs for homeless shelters. But if homeless people are unwilling to go to the shelters that really isn't my fault, or my problem. I worked for that money, if I see a shelter in need I'll donate either my own money, my time or a little of both. But I don't like my taxes going toward the majority of people who won't help themselves by going to a shelter and joining a work program. |
