You shouldn't give Gordy ideas. He'll be doing that and taxing the air that we breathe soon. I would like to leave my carbon footprint right where it hurts him. Does he think we are retarded children who can't be responsible about recycling and cutting down on power usage? He is using all this hot air about Global warming as a great excuse to tax us on everything he can-like the £40 extra carbon tax on flying abroad. I will be holidaying in England and Scotland from now on. We need to ditch this Government as soon as possible. |

Mm, so everytime you light a fire (even a barbeque?) you'd have to write a letter to the council, wait for them to loose it and find it again and give it to the wrong person and loose it again, then you can phone them up and get put on hold, and then a few months after all that they might send you a letter back saying yay or nay.
That'd be fun! I hardly ever have bonfires and my washing keeps coming in reeking of them - lets give it a go! |

and to what benefit would the money be put to? sent over to africa? I cant see one single thing that the govement have actually done with all these so called green taxes.
I mean where are all the energy efficient powerstations? or free solar panels for houses or wind farms etc...
wheres all the investment into greener cars/planes and trains etc..? sure we have a few on the roads and that, but thats from manufacturers.
its just an excuse for them to get more money out of us so the MP's can afford a 2nd/3rd/4th home and claim excessive expenses.

once a year i dont mind,but its the little shites that do it every weekend!i live in a cul de sac,and we have a green right outside my house and its been destroyed by young vandals,our kids cant play on it cos its charred and stinking,they come home and theyre clothes are black,i think there parents should be billed for the firemen coming out! |

of course not. its the sh!t we put onto the bonfires that create pollution. i wonder what the government will do when the gas runs out. everything comes full circle and we will all end up with stoves and log fires in the home.
but i agree the government are greedy b@st@rds, they tax evrything else don't they.
