well in your case, your paying for the banks right now, & if you don't pay taxes, the government will stay broke and never be able to anything! bit of a powerless government i guess. lol
but in most countries, if you don't pay taxes the government doesn't have the money for public health, education, and all the other things that governments do. i don't think you guys have much in the way of public health or education, but you've still got the army and all the other government jobs that need doing & people need to be payed. if the government is good, it's good to pay taxes to keep the country running - but no one likes paying tax!! |
