All these fancy cars you see with private number plates on it is all just debt. Look on the bright side IF you have any money left (after taking out a bank loan to fill your car up with fuel) You can get some cracking bargains on eBay at the minute. No one is buying anything.

Erm, I'm not in debt (Apart from the mortgage, of course).

i am not in debt only by £180 but thats peanuts to other i dont have credit cards (bit of a bummer when it comes to ebay lol if i dont have the cash i dont need it. I have 4 children and they all have everything they need. Our population is full of greedy people i have a rule in my house if we dont have cash to buy what we want then we dont need it.

There is a difference between NEED and WANT

The rich can afford this sort of lifestyle whereas the poor who just go more in debt

although the british govermement does offer grants and busery for youngsters at least !

Clive
There was an economic boom but the Government and Bank of England failed to prudently control the money supply and apply restraint to lending. Executives on obscene performance packages made high risk decisions that, like pyramid selling came home to roost when uncertainty crept into the economy. The property market collapse was inevitable when purchase prices exceeded sums that a person on average wages could afford,
