mine ends in 15..... no money,, waiting to move into the house, but now on hold and dumped some funds to get ready to move,,by the 5th, we might be screwed of not in the bank by then...
And all my co-workers and friends have not gotten theirs yet..
I finally got through and was informed the same thing as Jen mentioned,,, if you used turbo tax, and paid your fees from your refund, thus your check going to them first, then you did not get direct deposit from IRS. so they will be mailing actually starting May 12th....
The News states, they already started mailing out the refunds, but that litterally means, electronically they mailed some already.. |

Yeah, my husbands ss# ends in 08 and we still have not recieved our check, and when we go to the irs website to look it up, it says it can't find us, so yesterday may 3rd....my husband called the irs and was on hold for 30 min, and the lady said it was processing and that it should be in there today, and well yeah now it's Saturday and nothing!!! It really suxs to, when y ou ar elooking forward to something and it's not there. |

I am 17, and did not use turbo tax or H& R block. I did however use a locally owned tax place here in town and did have the fees taken out up front but the refund was direct deposited from the IRS so I am hoping the banks are just being slow. Just called the tax place and guess what??? they are out of the offive from Apr 29th -may 12th(What a coincidence!!!) Guesss I better call the IRS! |

I had my refund direct-deposited this year and my ssn ends in 13...nothing deposited today. I talked to a lady on the phone from the IRS and after asking me those 2 questions, she said to check w/my bank on Monday b/c it should be in there by then. She said they are just really backed up. (understandable but also sounds like a routine answer--lol) Hadn't heard anything about the "Turbo Tax/fees being taken out" that Jen S. mentioned...hope that isn't true b/c that's what I've opted for every year!! |

I haven't received my received mine either and my last two is 09 - still nothing and it's already 10:18PM in HI. We filed ours joint and direct deposit. We had a tax preparer, owe no monies so should've received our rebate today based off of the IRS |

We still havent recieved ours either 08 here and my neighbor with 02 nothing either...we all get direct deposit..and nothing yet....
I know our bank is a day behind with updating the account balances so i guess i'll check on saturday..just sucks ....blah |

I still havent received anything either and i have been trying to check status both on internet and phone and neither one can give me a status. This is frustrating. What the point of people checking their status when they can't give you any information. |

Haven't received mine either and my SSN ends in 18. I was trying not to get my hopes up...just in case I'm one of the people who won't get one (althought I'm pretty sure I will) but its free money...so like everyone else...I'm really excited and impatient! Lol. Hope everyone receives there's soon! |

It's May 3rd and I'm 00 and still haven't received mine. I guess a lot were sent out Friday for DD but they might not be posted for a few business days depending on your bank. |

I was expecting mine no later than today. I used turbo tax and they asked how did I want my "economic stimulus rebate check" deposited. I specified direct deposit and entered my account info.
10pm and still nothing. What a bunch of typical crap from the government not making good on their promise. Who are you going to complain to??? |

Did you check the status with the form you fill out at the IRS website? If you are sure you qualify and owe no back taxes, child support or student loans..it should come in today unless for some reason it will be mailed. |

My soc ends in 17 and I did not get mine today either. I called the IRS and found out that if you used Turbo Tax to file your taxes and you had the fees taken out of your actual refund your rebate will be mailed to you on May 23rd! |

Mine ends is "04" also and we still haven't seen anything.
I owe student loans, but I am paying on them and not in default, so I don't think they could take it for that.
The IRS web site says to allow 2 weeks from the date listed to receive the money. I thought that applied to only the paper checks, but apparently it applies to direct deposit also. |

I talked to H&R block (who did my taxes) and they advised me that since I had their fee taken out of my refund and did not pay out of pocket for them up front, my check will be mailed instead of direct deposit, even though I received my tax refund via direct deposit. Yeah, sucks. I know.
I also confirmed this it true from the IRS. They advised that since H&R Block takes fees out, they actually direct deposit the remaining refund into your account instead of the IRS and they collect your full check from the IRS later on. |
