what are you talking about? how much in soc security is being withheld? if the two taxes added together equal 7.65% of your gross pay- you're getting exactly what is required to be withheld and nothing more. that amount pays retirement benefits for people who are retired now - that's the way the system works

I don't see how this would be possible, as deductions coming out of your check would be tied to your social security number.

For their OWN? That doesn't even make sense. And by the way, it's social security, not SSI, that money is taken out of your paycheck for. - they are two very different programs.

You really need to find out more about this..and you can't do it here..you need to find out on the tax laws in your own state. If they are doing this it is called fraud. If you find out thats it id fraud and what they are doing is wrong..you can report them to the tax department for fraud.

No its not legal at all. The employer is suppose to pay halfof your ssi and medicare taxes, and you pay half. What do you mean they are taking this out of your check to pay their taxes?
