Stimlus Rebate check?
I filed my taxes this past year with Turbo Tax. And I got the money Direct Deposited. But I read on a site. That anyone who had used Turbo tax or h&r Block for taxes and had them Deposited to there account. Were actually going to get there Stimlus check In the mail. So I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this and if they have anymore information on this subject....

if you used a tax service and had the fees taken out of your refund then you will get a paper check in the mail if you used a credit card for the fees and then you will get a DD

rentalpack
I also used the turbo tax system, even though its not a RAL that I used the system or banking is through Santa Barbra banking I belive...so this might also be considered as a type of RAL then a paper check will be mailed., Plus if any fees where taken out, then it be mailed too..

I say this also I should of had my check in the bank the first week they came out, I had the fees deducted from my check then deposited....looks like the check is the mail for me.

The deal is if you had your taxes done with turbo tax or h&r block and had your fees taken from your refund and not pay for them up front like with your credit card then you will get a paper check and not direct deposit. I used turbo tax also but I didn't take my fees out of my refund so my money will be direct deposited 2morrow according to the Where's my Stimlus Payment link.

never heard the story and would say it's a bunch of bull ----.
i'm sure you'll get yours directly deposited to the same account. it all depends on your last two digits of your social as to when yours will be deposited. all direct deposits will get their deposits before those other people get their checks.
they've already started sending out those direct deposits.
keep your fingers crossed and keep checking your account daily to see if it's been deposited yet.
good luck to ya.

The only way you will get a paper check is if you had your turbo tax fees taken out of your return instead of paying them by credit/debit card. I know this for sure because it happened to us. My husbands ss# ends in 00 and we are waiting on paper check because we had the fees deducted.

If your fees were not deducted you will get your direct deposit.

If you received your refund by direct deposit into your bank account, savings or checking, your rebate check will be deposited to the same bank account.

not correct it doesn't matter who you used to file your taxes, irs could care less b/c if that was the case mostly everyone would be getting their checks by mail. it states on the irs website that if you paid your filing fees out of your refund and not upfront then you will get a check in mail.

the irs also says if you got a refund anticipation loan or check you will get a check not dd .

if you used turbo tax ,h&r block ,sam and harry's or whomever does not matter as long as none of the above methods was ysed in your filing and you opted for dd that's what you'll get the in also.

hopes this clears everthing up for you.

sorry made a couple of boo boos ,too late now,my darn fingers hurt so bad!

You should get your stimulas money directly deposited into your account based on you last 2 digits of your SS number. My understanding is that paper checks go out to those who took out RAL's or any other types of loans with there direct deposit with a tax preparer like H@R Block,
