The checks are being mailed out based on your social security number and whether your income tax rebate was directly deposited into your account or a paper check. You can find out the date your check should be mailed (if you are receiving one) here:

The second letter comes very close to the time you get your payment if you are eligible. From the info in your question, it sounds like you'd be eligible to get a paper check for $300, or for $600 if the "we" means that you filed a joint return. The paper checks have started going out, but won't all be out until mid July. There is a schedule at http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180250,00.html for when payments should be out - check the part that says "paper check" not the "direct deposit" section. |

You can find out by using the last two of the primary SS number on the irs website. This tells you the date they are being mailed and place to see how much you should be getting. WWW.IRS.GOV |

Based off of what you are saying you should be receiving 300 dollars. But it also depends on how you got the 3,000.
Just go to the irs website and you will put in information from your 2007 return. Then you will know. |

Go to the irs website, there you can use a calculator that can estimate how much you are going to get. There is also a chart that tells you when and how you will be recieving it. |
