Sorry, that is a nasty rumor going around...if you call the IRS they will tell you that the original schedule stands...and the only ones that got sent out early are those people who normally are not required to file a tax return.
If you want to check the status of your rebate you can call 800-829-1040... |

Only those with direct deposit and SSN's ending between 00 and 20 get theirs by today. Your SSN is on the schedule to be deposited by May 9.

You heard partially wrong: only people whose last two SSN digits are between 0-20 get the May 2nd payment, which may not show up May 2nd, it just will be transmitted that day - it's up to your bank to process it, and some banks process ACH deposits at the end of the business day, making it Monday for some of those who did get their rebate transmitted, but to answer your question, you are in the middle and will get your transmission on May 9, provided you have the same bank info, didn't get a rapid refund or refund anticipation loan of any kind, and you don't owe back child support or are in extreme arrears on a student loan and they are garnishing you. I just got off the phone with the IRS. Our last 2 are in the 80's.
they said, if your direct deposit went to your preparer first, you will get a paper check. because we re in the 80's, our is getting mailed out JULY 4th.
i am just gonna forget it and be surprised when we get it, lol. |

They are actually working on phase 2 at this very minute, which is you....just got off the phone with the IRS and they said that they will be depositing phase 2 all the up untill 5pm today...so keep checking |

No, it is still going by the original schedule posted on the IRS website. They mailed some out through this week, but they were all from the 00-20 group. Maybe next week they will do the same for the 21-75 group... but who knows! |

the govt is sending out 5 million today.I got mine and im 22 and a coworker who is 84 got hers too.Another co worker who is 71 didnt though.Im sure the govt is screwing this up like they do with everything else |
