SL | Stimulus DD scheduled May 9th - Where's My Stimulus Not Working? |
Just wondering if we're the only ones who are scheduled for direct deposit for their stimulus payment now able to get any information from the Where's My Stimulus link on irs.gov? I've tried it with both our SS#'s, and any possible exemption combination, and I still get the whole "Sorry....." thing. Is anyone else having this issue? I KNOW we'll be getting money back, I'm just a little concerned that it's not yet working...
Additional Details
We filed ours using TaxCut. However, we did not have them take the fees out of our return, we paid for them out of our bak account. And our refunds were DD directly into our account, as we provided our bank info on the tax forms. It's just frustrating. |

Have you received anything saying you are for sure getting a DD on May 9th? Maybe you are like the others of us who thought we were getting DD and are now waiting for a paper check.
The reason we are now waiting on a paper check is because we had our fees taken out of our tax return. Don't know if that applies to you.
The status will not show up until they have actually processed your information. Mine did not start showing up until the past Monday-- our socials end in 00 and 01. |

I just used the Where's My Stimulus link and it said that we are getting a direct deposit on May 9th. Last two digits are 60. I think it will only update the week of your deposit because I tried last week and nothing. You may have to wait and see if it updates for you next week because I think those that are getting direct deposits on Friday have already updated on the status page. |

I just tried it and it's working fine. Has it worked for you prior? Did you get a RAL or RAC? When you did your refund did you have your fees deducted from your check? If so, then you will get a paper check. That could be a reason that it's not working for you. If all else fails call IRS 800-829-1040, press 2 then 3 for live person. |

Its working for me too. SSN's end in 35 and 95. Works for both. Says scheduled for May 9.
Did you have your refund split into 2 or more accounts?? |

I just used the "Where's My Stimulus" gadget at the IRS site...it works. Unfortunately, I have to wait for a paper check, so no help with DD. |
