the real payments will be made via direct deposit or paper check. (Which ever way you got your tax refund). There are no other legit options, the savings bonds are a scam. |

The IRS, which began sending out rebates on April 28, will continue distributing them through mid-July. The rebates, part of the economic stimulus package enacted this year, range from $300 to $600 per person, or $1,200 for married couples.

That sounds really odd. I have heard of alot of scams here in texas were people are trying to get hold of peoples stimulus checks. Id call an accountant . Before i got the law involved. |

no my brother already got his check. it is not a scam. the mailing of the check are base on your social security number. take a look at this iste to know your schedule

This is a scam. Contact IRS immediately. Paper checks have not even been mailed yet......direct deposits are still being transmitted. What you son received sounds phony and a way to get to your sons money.......contact police also for advice. Check out irs dite....www.irs.gov for more information. |

The IRS has not started mailing the checks to be mailed yet. They're still working on the direct deposit ones. You should take it to a bank to see if it's legit or not. |
