It seems that most people are getting the check on the Monday after the date it says the check will arrive. Ex. If the check is supposed to be mailed May 16- you will get it the following Monday- the 19th. I just received that second letter yesterday - May 19th stating that my stimulus check is scheduled to be mailed on May 23. The only thing that is bad about those of us scheduled to receive them on May 23 is that Monday, May 26 is Memorial Day so there will be no mail. There are a few rare cases where the people have received them on the Saturday after the day they were scheduled to be mailed but who knows. Good luck. Waiting is the worst! |

well my letter was dated may 12th saying it should be mailed by the 16th and on may 19th i got it. it was a paper check. expect it soon my last two ss#'s are 64 good luck |

erhan - your last 2 are 64? when did you file, if you don't mind me asking? i'm thinking it's going by the date you file then your social since there is such an array of ss#'s that have already rec'd their paper checks. |

If anyone remembers....back before e-file was around and you filed your taxes by mail...you either got your refund on Monday, or on Friday. Depends on where you live and how slow the post office is. I know in my area, MS....my mail takes two trips to Memphis, TN before it finally lands in my mailbox....go figure, but..it does happen that way.... |

Not everyone who got the letter saying it would be mailed the 16th has gotten theirs...I know i have not. Now the mail has not come today but so far I have nothing. The letter came last week stating it would be mailed the 16th...I am worried because my mail is forwarded from old address, but the letter was forwarded and got to me just fine....so maybe that is the hold up, that it takes a day to get it to the right address.... |
