Anthony J | Stimulus payments, IRS.GOV:where is My stimulus Payment? When can we with SSN 21 through 75 view the status? |
I logged on the IRS.GOV, to the Where is My Stimulus Payment tool and it says that no information is available. 'I used direct deposit for My tax return for 2007.' Also, it says that we must wait a week from the date the payments will start to be direct deposited. In My case the last 2 of My SSN falls between 21 through 75, so shouldn't I be able to use the Where is My Stimulus tool? And has anyone else had the same trouble with the tool? Finally does anyone know the process of the Treasury Department's deposit schedule, for instance, do taxpayers with the last 2 SSN's closer to 21 or 22, and so on recieve the rebate sooner that those taxpayers with the last SSN's 75 recieve the direct deposit last?! BTW I am looking forward to My payment! I am mad about the IRS.GOV, Where is My Stimulus tool. Thanks! |

i have had the same problem mine is in the range of 21-75 says the same for me did our taxes the13th of jan and got DD the 24th of jan and says sorry crap i think it is a bunch of BS wondering if we are really going to get them or not |

Try not to stress too much...that is what I'm trying to tell myself as well. Hubby's SSN# is 53 and its saying the same thing whenever we log on and check too. I think its because they haven't updated the system yet because of the weekend. I have a friend whose hubby's last 2 are between 21 and 75 and it says that same thing for them. I hope we are all helping you out by telling you that you are not alone. |

Don't hold your breath...I e-filed w/direct deposit, back in early March, and I was in the "first round" of SSNs (0-20). May 2 was the date for the payment. But yet nothing in my bank account and the tracker still doesn't work.....for me at least. |

Same situation for me. Last two digits are 21 and just checked the 'Where's my stimulus Payment' system and got the 'We are sorry. Specific information about your Stimulus payment is not available' messsage. Guess I'll keep waiting to see if/when it shows up. |

I fall in the 21-75 category and yesterday it gave me the May 9th date. I wanted more specific information since it's broken into 4 days worth of deposits. Oh well...I guess I'll keep checking my bank. Didn't get it today. |

I can't get the WMSP tool to work for me either. I fall in the 21-75 range as well. My fiance is in the same bracket also and he got his rebate on Friday (5/2). The only thing I can think of as to why he got his already is that it's because he filed like the second or third week of January and I filed Jan. 31st.
Try to hang in there... I know it's crappy that they put out that schedule of disbursment dates a long while back and people started making plans for that money based on the dates that were given and now there's a huge chance you're not going to get it on time. I'm definitely in that position. Our honeymoon is next week and we were counting on both of us getting our rebates in time for it so we had enough money to pay for everything. |

For those that were able to get some information on the site you were lucky. My # is 33 and I can't get anything at all except I'm sorry we have no further information. If I were to get a DD, which I don't think so because of the Turbo Tax problem, I have to wait for a paper check.
I really thought that since TT told me that my account number should be on the form that they would still try to DD my rebate and then it would bounce back and then they would mail me a paper check and then I would get it before June 6 mailing.
But no such luck. On the automated system yesterday it had a Sorry no further information statement also, but it also said that my schedule mail date was 6/6 and that if my return was filed and processed the DD date was 5/16. Today there is no such statement with reference to direct deposit. any more. The general statement is just the mailing date of paper checks.
A few people I know that paid their fees with a credit card or used the free sites, and they are entitled to the DD, are getting the same kind of message on the automated site. No mention of direct deposit, only the mailing date of a paper check. One of my friend's SS is 12. She should have received the DD already. She can't even get info on the Where's My Stimulus site.
Any ideas would be helpful. |

i used the tool and the hotline. Both said that my dd would be deposited on May 9. We shall see (ss #53)
There is also a clause on the tool page that now states that information would not be available on the tool until it is processed in their system for either dd or paper within that week. |

I agree, this is such a crazy way issuing the refunds. Not to mention way to much publicity so all the thieves can come up with ways to con people out of their money.
I just tried the status link on the irs website and got the same BS message. My SS# is between 21-75. |

Try to chill out, My # is 38 and IRS GOV. says it will be deposit on MAY 6 I will just have to wait and see ,and alot of people says the same as you have gotton there check dd , try to figure it was a surprise gettting it its not like you get it every year. Just hang on you will get it. IRS is messed up. |

If you go to IRS.gov and then in the search type in Where's my stimulus payment it will take you to a screen where you put your info in and see if they have scheduled for it to go out yet. |
