Stimulus rebate ? Ok someone please help I have a head ache?
Ok, I have been reading, that if you used HR & TubroTax or something like it you will have to wait for a paper check.

However I filled on line with TubroTax and my monies were direct deposited to my account by US TREASURY ,,, So with that being the case I shouldn't have to wait for a check RIGHT???????

Thank you, I have been trying to read up on who got it already because mine is last two are 63, but then I started reading that if you filled under H&R or turbo tax you would be getting a paper check.. It is not like I am dieing with out it but there is a laptop and a 10 speed and a disney car set that has mine and my children's names on it *LOL* oh and oh course GAS money savings

Ok, less headache, more simplicity. Right! US Treasury...Sinks it. It is official you WILL get Direct Deposit!
Call 1-866-234-2942 Enter 1 for English and then 2 for Status of Payment. Then answer the questions. It should tell you when to expect it and how much. If not don't fret, just call again tomorrow. I know it's really difficult to be patient especially when we need the money so badly.

That's correct. So long as you paid for the fees up front via credit/debit card and didn't have them deducted from your refund you should get your rebate via direct deposit.

Micki
That's how I understand it. It only says that if you had direct deposit, that's how the rebate will be processed.

benandjerryluvr
Right. Totally researched this last friday,. There's a quick link on irs.gov that explains the payment schedule, and says if you e-filed w/ direct deposit, your stimulus payment will be paid out in the same way. Check it out. Was SERIOUSLY the most pain free experience with the IRS I've ever had. Good luck!

Nope you will have it direct deposit, I used Turbo tax and got mine a couple of weeks ago via direct deposit.

If you had your money dd and no funds were taken from your refund (you paid to use the service by cc or debit card) then you will get dd for the stimulus!

you can go here to see where and when to expect your stimulus...also how!

If your money was deposited into your account by the IRS so will your stimulus check. If on your tax return the account number reads anything with RAL, standing for rapid, you will receive a paper check. But in your case if on your taxes is your account information not going through another account your refund will go into your account.

It will be direct deposited into your account. It has nothing to do with who did your taxes. The government is sending them directly to us whether it's by paper check or direct deposit. Take a tylenol and relax. The government is in no hurry to give away free money.

Unfortunately you will have to wait on a paper check. I filed thru Tax Act and although my tax return was direct deposited by US Trasury however, when I went to Where's My Stimulus it said that I will be receiving a paper check because its considered thru a third party even though my first check was direct deposited. I know its crazy. It also said not to expect payment to be mailed off until the 16th of May and don't contact them until its the 13th of June and I still haven't received it. My number is 09.

Yes, that sounds right. It isn't the fact that you used HR Block or Turbo Tax...it is if you had a RAL or any other loan & if you had direct deposit. If you are in the 2nd group of Direct deposit then your info is probably on the stimulus tracker now. If you are in 3rd group, then it will probably be updated by Monday of next week. Hope that helps! :-)
