This is a link to a payroll calculator. It is only approximate. in the tax code section put 522. this is a standard code for people on minimum wage.

Your personal allowance is about £5225 per year which is about £100 /wk or £435 / month deduct this from your salary and what is left will be taxable at base rate which is 22% or 1/5. If you are over 18 you will pay national insurance on the taxable amount at about 9%. I used to work out my own tax but allowances and percentages are likely to change

Net Income??

Go to the IRS website and look for Employer's Tax Guide. This will have a chart in it that you will be able to calculate it out, once you have the gross wages. It allows you to pick single or married and how many dependants you claim. This will give you the federal tax amount that is deducted.

Each state has it's own state income tax, but just find out what the percentage is on that. You should find it on your states website.

SS is calculated at 6.2% and medicare at 1.45%.

get a calculator type in your wage then multiply it by 0.80 thats the tax that comes off and then just look at previous wage slips for national insurance

pstzqueen
I'm not sure but its about 23-25% of what you earn, so divide by 4, multiply by 3 and add on a bit more!
