The site has no information about your rebate until your payment is actually scheduled. Since much of the IRS computer work is done in weekly batches, it is not unusual for this site to have new information on a large number of taxpayers right after the weekend -- and within a week or so before their scheduled payment date.
You should expect the check to be mailed ON the date specified (June 6), not BY that date. Naturally, it will take a few days for the Post Office to deliver it to your door. At about the same time, you should expect a letter from the IRS confirming the details of the payment calculation. |

I got the same info this morning finally on that web site it said mine and my roommates will be sent out June 6th and gave amounts etc. I wouldn't expect it until the following Tues or Wed. I am thinking we should have the checks by June 11th or so. It would be nice if it was mailed out early :)
I did think it was odd it posted 2 weeks before it being mailed seeing everyone keeps saying they give no info until the week before. Good luck. |

Thought I'd share...called IRS this am b/c still no paper check. Last digits 15, in SC, originally expecting direct deposit but had fees taken out for filing by Turbo Tax, rec'd 2nd letter last Monday the 19th. VERY nice customer service rep. stated that checks are mailed ON the date(May 23rd) given on the IRS website. She stated the letters were inaccurate and they were aware of the mistake. She also stated that the letters were "contracted" out to an outside agency and that she believed that may be the problem. Hopefully, this info. will help those of us still awaiting the mail. |

Well the IRS website and hotline said that our check would be mailed out on the 22nd, and we received our check in the mail on the 24th. Last 2#'s are 20. Does that help? |

its www.irs.gov and I think it will only give you information about your rebate check like 1 week before it is sceduled to be mailed out.
Just check the schedule, and go from there.
You will also get a letter in mail from the irs letting you know how much you are getting, and when you should recieve it too.
I think they will mail them letters out like a week before your payment is mailed. So, just :]], cause it will be good when you get it.. :]]]] |

Usually you will get it about 3-5 days after the date is says. Like mine says it was scheduled to be mailed on May 16th, I received my paper check on May 19th. |

Whatever the date is on the site is when it is mailed out. I received a letter last Monday, May 19 saying I would have my check by the 23rd. But I believe it was mailed out on the 23rd. So I am hoping it comes today since it was a holiday yesterday. If I get it when the mail comes I will post back.
