Assuming you had no other income and your parents or someone else is claiming you as a dependent on their taxes, based on an AGI of $7,800 filing single with zero exemptions, you should receive a refund of $251.
It sounds like Form 1040EZ will be the best form for you to use to file with. |

I suggest going to an H&R block and sitting with a tax preparer; you are not obligated to file through them and if you don't, you don't have to pay a dime, but atleast you'll know how much to expect.
FYI - You may qualify for either the Hope or Lifetime Learning tax credits for college students; which means you could be getting a descent return (over 1,000 - which is good for a 19 year old college student).

Best thing to do is go to irs.gov, and look up the tax table. That is, if no one else can claim you as a dependent. 1040EZ is the way to go. Got mine in the bank in less than three weeks.
Uh, don't forget your standard deduction...it's like $5350 this year.

Being that $7800 was your net income. You should receive all of the fed tax back, so $447. Unfortunately the gov. keeps the rest. |

Best thing to do is go to eBay and get TaxCut 07 for about $3.00 shipped and then enter in the numbers , thats what I use and it is really simple to do. You will get probably all the $447 back. |
