If you go to the Citizens Advice Bureau, they will offer you excellent advice and even write to your debtors and to get levels of interest reduced. |

Beware of debt consolidation companies, try your local citizens advice or a solicitor that does legal aid. You are just making your debt worse consolidating it. |

dont go down that avenue these companies are only out to make money and theyll rip you off left right and centre.
your best bet is to go see someone at the citizens advice bureau. they really can help, they can ring round all the companies you owe money to and arrange lower payments. it might take longer to pay off the debts but at least your money is going to the people it was meant to go to, not into the pockets of the fatcat dcc's |

I would recommend your local Citizens Advice Centre as they will tell you everything that you need to know for free. Be wary of some of the companies out there as they don't care about your needs, and just want to make money from you. |

You should contact the bank directly - I think anybody knocking on your door or running internet ads will be crooks, and at very least won't do anything for you that you can't do yourself.
You need to talk to your bank, CUT UP YOUR CREDITS CARDS!!!! DON'T BUY ANYTHING YOU DON'T NEED TO STAY ALIVE (Guess what, that means no new clothes, CDs, electronics, furniture, or other junk AT ALL!)
If you have expensive cars sell them and take the bus! (It's amazing how much money goes into cars, gas and insurance, especially in Europe - doesn't matter if your baby is a BMW or not - GET RID OF IT!)
Then later on buy a used Toyota and use it only when necessary.
Obviously work as much as possible and make as much money as possible and start paying it ASAP.
Otherwise maybe talk to an attorneys office about declaring bankrupty, but that doesn't change anything if you go out again and make the same mistakes!
