Theres been a lot of talk about a list of 38 items of household goods & equipment they can claim yearly, 2 of which are a new kitchen at a cost of £10,000, & central heating costing £6-£7000....you only replace these items once in a blue moon...so how do they justify their claims in other years...perhaps the question should be why they can claim any of this allowance at all....iwouldn't turn up my noseat their salary for a 4 day week , & about 4 months holidays a year

DjB I would if i was young enough....they get more in expenses for a 4 day week, than I get for my state pension for the whole year...which by the way is about the lowest in europe
