Was to get my direct deposit on 1/25 from IRS,?
checked and was sent, bank hasn't posted, anyone else going through the same thing. How long does it take to post to the bank. I used the emerald card I had from last year which in effect is a prepaid debit account, their customer service isn't very helpful, was curious if anyone else is seeing a delay in the taxes being deposited?
Additional Details
** checked with irs AGAIN, no record of it being rejected, initiated a trace. Have found many people have had problems with this hr block emerald card. Now I'm hearing there was a glitch at the treasury department....whatever, just give me my money already ;)

I was originally told our refund would be to our bank on Feb. 8th. But, the last couple of days, it's changed. When I go to the "Where's my refund" site now, it says it should be to our bank by Feb. 12th. Our bank normally credits direct deposits within 12 - 24 hours, depending on what time of the day they're received.

I have mine direct-deposited into my checking account. According to the IRS website, it's scheduled to be deposited 1/29 (yesterday), but I'm not really expecting it to show up on my account balance until at least Saturday (2/2). I always allow at least three business days for ANY direct deposit to post.

Some electronic deposits take time , I'd probably get all the info and then contact the bank. It should have been done by now

Here is a site that you can check the status of your Federal refund. I have used it in the past and it is excellent. They will tell you the date you can expect your refund. I just realized you ahve a prepaid debit account, did the refund go there last year? If so, then don't worry, just use the link and they will tell you.

You may want to check with the IRS. The same thing happened to me. We got notification from the IRS that our refund was direct deposited on 1/25 only to have the status be changed on 1/30. Now we got a notification from the IRS that there was a delay in our refund. I spoke to the IRS today and was told that there was a hold placed on our refund but they don't know why.

H&R block has been holding refunds longer this year for some reason.

That's interesting. I just went to the IRS site, checked out my status and they told me that mine is scheduled to be deposited on the 1st of February. It was moved up from the 5th of February. And there was a little note about my refund being less which I totally expected since I owe back federal foster care child support and it will be finally be paid off with this refund. Am I suprised? Yes but I will not believe it until I get the call from H & R Block that my check is ready. Hope this helps somewhat for you. Good Luck!

Nope but mine won't be here till the 8th.
