The rebate checks are for tax payers,there has been no mention of rebates for those of us on Social Security,as for the poster here who thinks people on Social Security are free loading,let me be CLEAR,YOU ARE DEAD WRONG,you assumed that the asker is on SSI,this is a tax payed benefit to those who have not earned enough credits from working or have not worked due to a medically proven disability,SSDBI is paid to a person who has EARNED enough credits by WORKING and has a medically proven disability and can no longer work,then there are those who are retirement age and have earned those benefits.. |

Seriously??? I am tired of these rebate check questions already!!! If you get one, they will mail it to you, if you don't then they won't mail one to you. It's not supposed to be for another 5 or 6 months anyways. If I guessed, I would say no, you won't get one. You aren't paying taxes because your income is SSI, not because you make a small amount. Anyways, you are already freeloading. |
