Now, why were you expecting it now? Did someone process something for you and tell you to expect it by now? There are many scammers out there doing stuff to get money or steal identities from people. Be very careful. There is nothing you can do to get your check earlier and there is nothing you need to do to get your check other than file your return. |

Since stimulus checks haven't even started going out yet, and won't until May through July, I sure wouldn't start worrying.
Hmmmmm, good trick getting EIC with an income of $64K, since the limit is far below that, somewhere under $40K, and over that you aren't eligible. If you are saying you didn't get your REFUND yet, that could be why.... your return is messed up. |

Stimulus refund checks do not start getting sent out until May 2. Direct deposit checks - to those people who get their refund direct deposit to their banks - will go out first, followed by checks a week later. Each two weeks, they will send another batch by SSN, not name. SSN ending in 00 - 03 go first, then 04-06, then 07-09, something like that. The last checks will be physically mailed the third week of June. |

The checks will be sent out according to the last two digits of your SS# such as the first checks to be sent out I believe in June are to the 00 to 09 bracket, then 10-19 bracket the next week and so on.
As far as how much you should get back, I'm not sure but I believe it should be around $3,000. |

The stimulus checks will begin on May 2, for those persons who received their Fed. refund by Direct deposit.

Direct deposit payments will be made May 9 to people whose numbers end in 21-75.
The final round of direct deposit payments will be made May 16 to people whose numbers end in 76-99.
Those who will receive paper checks are on a later schedule, according to the IRS.
Checks will be mailed May 16 to those whose numbers end in 00-09. A second round of checks will be mailed May 23 to those whose numbers end in 10-18.
A May 30 mailing will be made to people whose numbers end in 19-25.
Mailings will be made June 6 to those whose numbers end in 26-38; June 13 to numbers 39-51; June 20 to numbers 52-63; June 27 to numbers 64-75; July 4 to numbers 76-87; and July 11 to those whose numbers end in 88-99.
To receive a payment, taxpayers must have a valid Social Security number, $3,000 of income and file a 2007 federal tax return, and the IRS will take care of the rest.
