Won't pay overtime?
I believe employers are required to pay you overtime (if you work over 40 hrs in a given week, and assuming you're not considered a supervisory employee) and grant you 15 min or 30 min breaks depending on how long your shift is.
I would considering talking to a lawyer. Although, threatening or actually filing a lawsuit could have negative consequences you'd need to consider first. Though there are probably rules that prevent them from firing you because you're asserting your rights as an employee. |

Call the State Labor Board for your state .. Do it now! What your employer is doing to you is illegal! You have rights and could sue! |

It is a law that for every 8 hours that you work your employer is required to give you 2 15 minute breaks and a 1/2 hour lunch...some fields such as agriculture do not require the employer to pay over time...check with your local labor board and if your employer is in violation , report him to this board. |

contact the labor board...call the unemployment agency, they will help. Better yet, call a lawyer. Also try the better buisness bureau. |

You can do many things from filing a lawsuit, to just quitting...if you are a part-time employee then I would advise to just go and get another job...there is no use in being unhappy or getting worked like a dog for nothing...one has to look into his/her own position at the time to determine when the best time to blow that pop-stand...don't invest time into a horse that will never run... |

Call your State Dept of Labor, the can explain the laws to you and then they will call your boss if he/she has violated any Laws. I don't know your state laws but here we don't get paid for lunch but we get time and half for over time as long as you aren't salary. Good Luck! |

File a complaint with your state labor board. Depending on what type of employee you are (full time vs part time or salaried or hourly), you may be entitled to overtime and definitely a lunch break! |
