Although I paid $41,000 in Federal Income tax last year, that amount meant that although my tax dollars are good enough to repay the debt for the rebate, it wasnt good enough to receive a tax rebate.

Tax rebate??? Hmmm don't think they send them to those of us that actually pay taxes. It's been 12 weeks since I filed mine, no notice, no payment, no nothing. Took them 3 days to cash the check I sent with it. Think it would be far more stimulating to the economy to do away with giving the tax money that I pay to those who never and will never pay a cent in taxes and still get back thousands of dollars every year with the Earned Income Credit. That's just one tax rule I will never understand. |
