I agree with you. Another thing i cannot stand about my job is that if you take any annual leave, no-one else does your share of the work so i end up coming back to a whole weeks worth of work that needs catching up on ASAP. Puts me off actually taking time off. It really annoys me!!! |

I'm an RAF Aircraft Engineer by profession, but at the moment I'm tasked with sitting behind a desk tapping away at a computer all day.
I'm stuck in an office. I joined up to avoid desk jobs as I'm an outdoors and hands-on person. My last post was as a Squadron engineer and It was my dream job (I also got to travel the world through work!), but due to cutbacks my Squadron was disbanded and I ended up here.
I hate the fact that I barely see sunlight most of the day and that I have to do office-type work, like taking notes and photocopying, whereas on a Squadron I would be repairing aircraft and getting oily/dirty whilst doing it! Ahh, bliss.
Hopefully I'll get back to it one day... |
