What if a person never filed for taxes in there life and owe mass amounts of medical bill and never payed one?

I don't see how the two are connected or would have an effect on the other.

If you never file your taxes and you didn't owe at any point, then most likely nothing would happen. If you never filed but owed the IRS money, one day they will catch you and garnish your entire pay check and possibly any money that you have in the bank (happened to someone I know). You could also face criminal charges.

As for not paying paying your medical bills...not a whole lot can be done, it will go on your credit but that's about it.

you're screwed

If you work under the table and move around or give bogus addresses, it's possible to live "under the radar" of the feds for a long time.

move to the country, stay away from law enforcement, don't vote or register your address, you should be alright.

Medical bills have nothing to do with taxes. Odds are if you never filed and have had just some low level job (if you had a better one you wouldnt ask this) you would have filed at some point. The IRS loves this as they usually owe you something and if you don't want it they are more than happy to keep it nd collect interest on it.

Medical bills? Well if they are old they were forgotten long ago. If you get on this and just file next year you should be OK. Just see what happens. Odds are nothing will. Check your credit report and see whats there. Odds are there is nothing regarding your medical bills.

But you have to face the music and see what happens. You don't want to avoid something for years to only find out it was really nothing and you held yourself back.

they'll garnish your checks from now on and will be on the lock down for awhile. don't mess with the IRS. you can run but you can't hide, sooner or later you'll get caught. your punishment won't be pretty. do the right thing and file your taxes.

Well I would suggest you find a tax attorney.
The medical profession can get nasty about unpaid bills but the feds can put you in prison if you don't pay your taxes so first things first.

look on the bright side,,if you go to prison,, you will not have to pay your bills

Your medical bills have nothing to do with your taxes. You need to file your taxes though. If you owe money The IRS will make you pay...but your medical bills...they would have to take you to court and get a judgment for you to pay. Medical bills are pretty common and I wouldnt be worried about them taking money from any tax refund. If you have made under a certain amount during the time you didnt file your taxes you may only have to pay a small penalty for not filing. which would come out of any refund you may entitled to. I you owe or think you may owe the IRS call a tax attorny for legal advice and representation...you will need it if you owe the IRS money..they dont fool around.
