What is 9% of 240?

magpiez
If you are using windows, then try the following.....

Start >
All programmes >
Accessories >
Calculator >

Then just put the figures in and if you are new to computers
* means times and / means divide.
So 240 * 9% = 21.6
.......try it for yourself.

21.6-------turn 9% into a decimal by dividing it by 100. This give you .09 and now take 240 times .09 and you get 21.6

Anytime you see a problem like this... what is XX % of YY, just multiply the number by the percent, by changing the percent into a decimal. 9% is .09, so 240 x .09.
