In every office there will be one person who can actually fix the mess created by all the others .. you just have to find them ... ring up again and ask to speak to the Manager ... (you may have to go up 2 or 3 levels before you reach some-one with an IQ over 80 who can actually fix the problem ...)
PS ALWAYS ask them to confirm what they tell you in writing (and yes, you will have to find some-one who can write first ...)
