You should seek the advice of a Certified Public Accountant. You can find them in the Yellow Pages under Accountants or you can ask around to see who is the best. They are professionals who have to pass a rigourous test, but you can find reasonable rates at a smaller firm. |

CPAs charge $250 or more an hour so you may want to find one of the nationally known tax preparation firms near your home. This time of the year the only people working in those places are generally senior experienced people. You should ask your parents if they took you as a dependent last year as that will make a major difference in your return. Once you find a good tax preparer stay with them as it will make it much easier each year! |

Check on the IRS VITA program. It's free, available to people making under $35,000 a year. Only operates during tax season though, so won't be much use right now if you're trying to file for last year. |

H & R Block |

Adios

H&R Block is an excellent preparer of tax returns. Call an office, make an appointment to see a tax preparer. Explain your situation and see what they say. If you're uncomfortable, just say so and leave. You can speak with a Block tax professional at no cost. |

You can go to H&R block, they have many skilled people that can help you. Only downside is their prices. If you have a liberty tax office near you, you can go there. They also have many skilled people. And from what I understand, many times they will do your return for free, if you are a fist time filer. I would give them a call, you would get great help and not pay a penny. |

If you did not file last year then a prison you will be going to!
OK now the bad news has been heard you probably did not earn enough money to spend the night in jail. In fact the IRS probably owes you moo la. Ask your parents who they use or another relative or a older coworker. They have had more experience with tax preparers. Not sure if HR Block is even open right now you could also check the phone book or the local chamber of commerce they might even help you do it. |

Not H&R, ask around your office or ask your friends. A referral is the best way. |
