What is the best way to send money abroad to a Pakistani bank account from within the UK?
I could take the money with me when I fly to Pakistan, but a) it's a bit risky travelling with such a large amount of money. Secondly, if I were to take 30,000 GBP with me through the Airport here in Britain would I gest stopped? Or is there some law saying how much you can take out of the country when you fly? Don't take the money with you it's legal but not safe.
Don't use Western Union as you can't always trust the pakistani counterparties.
Don't use the banks they will rip you of with high exchange rates.
Try companies like afex.com or ruesch.com and negotiate the best rates you can get.
These 2 are known to me for several years, but as always buyers beware.
