Go to the Treasury Department website. There is a link that takes you to several on-line places where you can do your taxes. If you make under a certain amount of money the service is free. If not, there is a charge, but nothing like going to H&R Block. Give those a try and good luck on the taxes!

look at a government internal revenue service section they should have the list of places were they offer this service for free. I investigated myself last year and had it done for free at one of their branches.
