What is the language of argentina/?

Argentinito
In Argentina, the language is "Castellano". It is a mixture of Spanish (from Spain) and Italian. This is because of the massive Italian and Spanish migration to this country.
The accent sounds like italian, and they pronounce "ll's" and "y's" as "sh". ie: "yo" sounds like "sho" and not like "io"
If you want me to elaborate more: most argentinans mix "lunfardo" (the slang language of Tango) in their language and they also speak backwards. A good example of lunfardo is "pebeta" or "mina", they both mean "woman". A good example of backwards talking is "ñoba", which means "baño".
English is spoken even by the policemen in Buenos Aires.

earth2mignon
The official language of Argentina is Spanish. Argentinians refer to it as "Castellano (Castilian). Rioplatense, Guarani`and Misiones are all dialects found in specific parts of the country.

They teach english in schools so they would understand and speak english as well.

Stephanie S
argentines speak spanish (castellano) though it differs slightly from the spanish spoken elsewhere. the main difference is the use of "vos" instead of "tú", "vos tenés" "tú tienes". also the accent differs with the "ll" and "y", they are pronounced like the "z" in azure.

.
HAHAHAHAHAAAHAHA argentinian!!!!
